Welcome to

Southminster Presbyterian

At this time Southminster Presbyterian Church will NOT be meeting on Sunday mornings for worship and will suspend all meetings/activities at the church for the foreseeable future (at least through April 10th at the moment) unless noted below.

**We will NOT have public worship until April 12th (date subject to change). We will be recording the sermons via either Facebook Live or YouTube and sending the links out to the congregation members on those Sundays.

The church office will be closed in accordance with stay at home order in effect for Fort Bend County. Please call the church phone (281-499-2310) to reach a pastor or email our pastors: Rev. Kent Landry (klandry@southminpres.org), Rev. Andrew Keyes (akeyes@southminpres.org) and Rev. David Northcutt (dnorthcutt@southminpres.org). We are checking emails frequently and will respond in a timely manner.

We will use Zoom to conduct our Committee and Session meetings.

God created each one of us to be in community. We were not created to live in isolation, or to journey through life alone. Southminster is a community of people who are striving to live out the good news of Jesus Christ together as one big family. We hope that God will bring others into His family through the way we love, serve and live our lives with our brothers and sisters. If you're new to Southminster, we would love to get to know you better. Please take a few moments and explore our website to learn more about our church. If you'd like more information about our church family please email our Senior Pastor at

What to Expect

At Southminster, we believe showing up is the most valuable contribution you can make. Therefore, dress and environment are both casual occasions. However, feel free to dress up if it makes you more comfortable. We worship in a variety of different styles both traditional and contemporary. Grace Notes, our worship band, and the Chancel Choir lead our music switching off every Sunday and occasionally creating a blended worship. Lastly, please feel free to bring your younger children during the service as we offer a nursery for newborns-35 months, GAP (God's Active Preschoolers) for 3 YO - Pre-K, and Children’s Church for elementary children.

Please visit our Children's Ministry page to learn more about  how Southminster invests in children.
