Welcome to

Southminster Presbyterian

At this time Southminster Presbyterian Church is scheduled to begin worshiping in person with limited capacity in the Sanctuary on Sunday, September 6th. This date is still subject to change as our staff and Worship Committee continue to monitor the COVID-19 cases in our area. For now we will continue conducting all meetings, gatherings and worship services online.

** We will worship together on Zoom during Sunday mornings. Worship begins at 10:30. The sermon will be played during Zoom, and the sermon premiers on Facebook at 10:45. The last part of the service will resume on Zoom, and ends around 11:20ish. Visit our Zoom page to access the links and passwords.

The church office is currently closed but will open on June 1st. Please call the church phone (281-499-2310) to reach a pastor or email our pastors: Rev. Kent Landry (klandry@southminpres.org), Rev. Andrew Keyes (akeyes@southminpres.org) and Rev. David Northcutt (dnorthcutt@southminpres.org). We are checking emails frequently and will respond in a timely manner.

We will use Zoom to conduct our meetings for the foreseeable future.

God created each one of us to be in community. We were not created to live in isolation, or to journey through life alone. Southminster is a community of people who are striving to live out the good news of Jesus Christ together as one big family. We hope that God will bring others into His family through the way we love, serve and live our lives with our brothers and sisters. If you're new to Southminster, we would love to get to know you better. Please take a few moments and explore our website to learn more about our church. If you'd like more information about our church family please email our Senior Pastor at

What to Expect

At Southminster, we believe showing up is the most valuable contribution you can make. Therefore, dress and environment are both casual occasions. However, feel free to dress up if it makes you more comfortable. We worship in a variety of different styles both traditional and contemporary. Grace Notes, our worship band, and the Chancel Choir lead our music switching off every Sunday and occasionally creating a blended worship. Lastly, please feel free to bring your younger children during the service as we offer a nursery for newborns-35 months, GAP (God's Active Preschoolers) for 3 YO - Pre-K, and Children’s Church for elementary children.

Please visit our Children's Ministry page to learn more about  how Southminster invests in children.
